Tania Schmit-Valat is Chief Executive Officer of Pharmaspecific.
She leads the company’s operations and strategic management, in close coordination with the managing director, and oversees all activities relating to quality, clinical operations, internal organisation and the development of key projects in France and internationally, within Pharmaspecific’s clinical research team.

With more than fifteen years of experience in quality management systems and auditing, Tania has developed recognised expertise in structuring organisations operating in regulated environments. She supports companies in bringing their processes into compliance, optimising their operational performance and managing risk.

A chemical engineer by training, she is also a certified IRCA ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor. Her career has led her to hold positions in quality management, lead auditing and management systems consulting within consultancies, certification bodies, and industrial and service organisations.

At Pharmaspecific, Tania leads the Quality Management System, audit and inspection readiness, document structuring and continuous improvement initiatives. She plays a central role in securing activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and deploying quality standards across the company’s projects and within the clinical research team.

She also contributes to Pharmaspecific’s organisational and digital transformation, integrating quality and regulatory requirements into tools, processes and operating models with a view to sustainable growth and excellence. As CEO of Pharmaspecific, she thus takes part in the company’s management and strategic development.
